Only what runs the conference

When you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed password. Your profile — name, photo, job title, company, bio, and any links you add — is entirely optional and shared by you, for other attendees to see in the directory.

As you use the app we keep the things you'd expect it to remember: talks you save to your schedule, messages you post in chat, notification preferences, and any feedback you send us.

No ads, no trackers, no selling

There is no advertising, no analytics service, and no tracking pixel in this app. We don't profile you, we don't sell or share your data with anyone, and nothing you do here follows you around the web.

Cookies and offline storage

We set a single session cookie so you stay signed in. It is strictly functional — there are no third-party cookies.

To keep working with spotty conference Wi-Fi, your browser stores copies of pages you visit and, if you edit your profile while offline, holds those changes on your device until you reconnect. All of it stays on your device and is removed when you clear your browsing data or delete the app.

Notifications and email

Push notifications are opt-in, used for conference updates and chat, and can be turned off any time in notification settings. Email is transactional only — confirming your address or resetting your password. No newsletters, no marketing.

Deleting your data

You can deactivate your account any time from account settings, which hides your profile and signs you out everywhere. If you want your data permanently erased, contact the conference administrator and we'll delete it completely. Conference data doesn't live forever either — accounts and messages are removed after the event wraps up.
