Aaron Patterson and Jean Boussier, who sit on the both Rails and Ruby teams, will be joined by Ruby committer and tools maintainer Hiroshi Shibata to discuss how foundational tools like RubyGems, Bundler, RDoc, Debug, and ERB can be improved to make the language and framework more welcoming, especially for newcomers.

OSS programmer, Ruby committer, maintainer of many OSS such as Ruby, rubygems, rake, ruby-build and administrator of ruby-lang.org. Hiroshi maintains the infrastructure that supports the development of the Ruby programming language. He is working in public relations of technology for ANDPAD Inc. and is a full time OSS developer for the Ruby programming language.
